Hadn't ridden the bike for a couple of weeks due to kitchen fitting operations, fook me it was fresh at 8am......

Where I am there was quite a hard frost, that coupled with mud on the road, leaves and knobbly tyres made for a fun ride to work !

Beats coffee for wake up potential though Wink

Interesting that when I saw a couple of other bike on the way to work, we all gave big nods as if to say "your dyed in the wool" or maybe it's "your a daft tw*t like me" ?

Yesterday and this morning made me feel relieved that i got a car for winter and didn't stick it through with the ninja.

Last winter was no where near as cold and we have only just started this one. I was doing deliveries on a bike this time last year up until about 11 at night and that was pretty nippy but no where near as bad as this. Shocked

Walked into work yesterday as fiance had bike while his is off road (God I'm just too good....moral of the story? Don't put anyone else on your insurance! Wink ). It was cold but sunny and today I rode in...again, cold but sunny, so does the fact that it's sunny and dry not negate the fact that it's f*cking freezing when you're out and about on 2 wheels or is it still a novelty for me being out on my own? Laughing

I really enjoy riding whatever the weather...although Im not that keen when there is lighting, no faraday cage to protect you! The cold is fine if you have the gear!

Went on bike 2 days, this week, managed to find a hose at work, so can wash down salt at lunchtimes.

However today would have been sucidal, the mondeo was loosing traction turning on the ice.

We still have an ice covering now at 1pm.

Bye bye bike, hello car, with stereo, heater and traffic queues aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Sick
