cb600? you mean the cb600f, the hornet?

If so, much quicker than the sv650 in all situations. Having owned both, the hornet is well quicker but lack of a fairing can be a downside when trying a top speed run.

Only real downside is the tank range. It's a bit crap. The sv650 will get 60 more miles to the tank.

I'm selling my cb600f, yours for £1300 with no mot Wink

If its not the hornet and its some other bike with the same engine, then yeah they make about 87bhp as standard I believe or thereabouts. A good 20bhp up on the Sv.

Hornet is quoted as having around 95bhp at the crank, this give you around 85 at the wheel. A little more than a sv, but on trck sv times are around 2 seconds quicker than a hornet. THe hornet is quoted as weighing 185kg dry. Little heaver than a sv, but a chunk lighter than a blandit.
I got around 130 to a tank on my hornet, although i tended to fill it up after 100.
My hornet was my first bike, i've done shed loads of miles on it, as well as a pile of track days. I dont know what you mean by other specs.
Instigator i might be interesting in your hornet.
