Coming on from the MCN thread I just decided to see what biking mags everyone prefers. I go for either, Performance Bikes, Fast Bikes, or Superbike.

I buy TWO when i can.

I just find the way they take the piss out of everything quite amusing That along with the very strange tests they do to bikes from time to time.

Used Bike Guide and Classic Motorcycle Mechanics intermittently(sp). UBG do some good reviews, much more interesting that BIKE etc IMHO.

Are any of these magazines not produced by EMAP Automotive? It makes little difference what you read, it all goes into their coffers. It's just a difference in style. Bike's style is what I like.

Bike/Ride/TWO for me

Superbike/PB/Fast bike come across a bit tacky and seem to be for people who only like the latest jap-4's.... not me.

Superbike is a comic and the editor gets quite snotty if you ask when they are going to do a test that one of the other mags haven't already done in the previous couple of months...well he was stupid enough to ask people to e-mail him with their thoughts about the mag, editor 'King' Kenny Pryde does not like critiscism it would appear

Fast Bikes and TWO are chav mags, along the same lines as Lax Power and Shit Car (Max Power and Fast Car), thats also why manufactuers refuse to lend bikes to them, afraid the bikes will come back with LED's, Under Tray Neons, Spoilers and other stupid shit attached.

Bike and Ride is where the proper journalists work
