I did 800miles once. Left Zurich at about 10am, arrived home in Oldham at 3am, completely knackered. Didn't touch my bike for a few days after that. I think my total mileage for a 10 day trip was about 3000 miles. Enough to wear a back tyre out!

Hi

Not sure really. Did 350 riding to Brussels when I worked there, but may have done a touch more on the way through France on holiday a few years ago.

All the best

1200km on a Bros 400 (Nottingham to Brive-la-Gallarde via Calais).

Spending an entire day doing nothing but riding your bike is quite a strange experience actually.

About 4000 miles on holiday (Europe) this year. One day we did about 650 miles to make sure we had a good run to the ferry the next day Smile

300 miles. dudley to aberystwth and back with just enough time to eat some chips in between

I might have enjoyed it a bit more if the weather had been nice but generally i prefer runs of about 150miles as after a while it stops being fun and becomes boring or a hassle

about 450 miles....

when I was in Florida I took my little 250 ninja down from my uni in Gainesville to a friends house in Miami for thanksgiving weekend.

Actually I bought the bike from Miami as well, I took a greyhound bus down at night. I listened to the guy behind explain to the woman next to him how he literally just got out from prison and was taking the bus home, after serving a good time for armed bank robbery. "Where have you just come from" "you dont want to know" "yeah i do honestly, just making conversation".... turns out she didn't want to know after all. Guy got away with it and moved away, then apparently he confessed to a priest and he turned him in! there were also 2 guys discussing where to score crack in miami- according to them crack tastes like chicken, good to know.
I picked up the bike and set straight out for 400 miles. It was on 8th street (aka little havana) so I thought it was best to get my pasty english ass out of there as soon as possible.

One year ago TODAY I bought my Ninja.

It was a 700 mile round trip, so thats 350 miles on the bike, and it was so cold my fingers couldn't move.

250 miles.

London to Loughborough and back to london.

Although, the mayday Boxhil Arrow Hastings run was equally as long as it involved an M25 stint, then along the m25 again, then the A 21 or whatever it was. On the way back, had to head up through ashford cos of the diversion and that added about another 40 miles to the journey!

As fast as it would go, all the way, splash and go fuel stops.

Knackered a chain and sprockets, a nearly new back tyre and burned 1 1/2 litres of oil into the bargain. Blew the head gasket on the next run out.

Wotcha.

946 miles - Home to Inverness and back.
May 1984, on my 750 export Bonnie - I went out the next day and bought a screen for the thing - high bars and high mileage don't mix.
