IS the theory test for a full motorcycle licence the same as a car theory?

Ive heard that if you currently hold a car licence you do not have to take a motorcycle theory?

Heard wrong I'm afraid, you still need to do the theory.

The tests are very similar, but in a car theory it is "if you drive your car through a ford .........." and in the bike theory it is " if you ride your bike through a ford .........." but even if you have a full car licence you need to do a bike theory because they are both different catagories.
