Hello Chaps Thumbs Up

I've got the insurance up for renewal on the RS 125 this weekend and idealy want a policy which will cover both the RS125 and the ZX-6R.

Obviously I know that this involves the durge of phoning around for qoutes but by any chance would anyone on here be able to recommend an insurer's which do these type of policies?

Cheers

Stuart

sort of on the same tracks, I've tried looking at the one you guys suggested and they had no where on the site to enter voluntary excess ??? so made the quote ridiculous.

is it possible to insure me and my missus to ride both of our bikes in one policy ????

Thinking I'd have thought you could insure yourself someone else on the same policy. When I was phoning around today pretty much all of them asked if I'd be the sole rider of the bike.

Qoute I went for in the end was with Swindon for tpft at £220.00. Also the bloke on the phone chucked in the legal cover and breakdown cover as well so it did'nt seem too bad. Did try for both bikes but it seemed to come up more expensive, owing to the fact that I have'nt been riding the ZX-6R for long I'd guess.

I think you will find in law that each bike has to have it's own insurance cover (unless you go for a Fleet policy which will make your existing quotes look like peanuts Shocked ). Best way would be for you to insure one bike with missus as named driver and missus to insure the other bike with you as named driver Thumbs Up . Ebike do allow you to add more than one bike and more than one driver per policy but I think that only one bike can be ridden by only one rider at a time not, say four bikes by four different riders at a time. (Hope that makes sense Confused ) So if you and the missus are out together then one of you ain't insured. Embarassed

Best thing would be to have a chat with a broker ~ on-line companies only deal with basics.

Yes, Both me and Kickstart are insured on the ZZR and GPZ with Ebikeinsurance. I got a certifcate for each bike but barly pay any extra for the GPZ.

Now days you cant seem to get rider policy where you dont have to declare the bikes you own, but many companies do muti-bike policys.

Regards
C
