The instructors make double sure you are able to pass your test.

How can the examiner guarantee a pass before he has seen you ride, surely if you are not a safe rider or make a major balls up you cant be passed Confused

Not the examiner.... The instructor.

Thats what the guarantee sheme is, to make you ride where you avoid making major mistakes and driving safely.

My instructor often tells me that them as instructors can only teach you to ride safely not to pass your test, thats down to the examiner on the day and how well you do it then Confused

It means if you fail they carry on giving you free instruction until you pass. You just pay for the test fee.

No-where will it say they guarantee a pass first time.

Most people pass after an intensive course anyway.

Carry on with free instruction! I've hardly paid any as yet anyway, its not what you know but who as they say, and yes before you say it I am with a proper organised training group, the particular chap that takes me out is very nice, explains everything clearly, a rider himself of 20+ yrs Mr. Green

Rolling Eyes

What I was getting at, is that you probably charmed him...y' know...being female 'n' all?

And with us mainly being male, the whole charming bike instructors thing doesn't really work.

The place I did my CBT offers "guaranteed pass" for an extra £80, which means you can either pay the extra £80 just in case you don't pass and you get free instruction until you do, or you don't bother with the £80 and if you don't pass and need extra tuition you have to pay for it.
