Whole bike wobbles just as he turns in. Wonder if he had a front wheel blowout.

he might just have hit something on the road, and lost traction on the rear tyre for a second, lucky he didnt highside, but it seems to have been enough to shock him, and he then made the mistake of letting his body take over by trying to put his feet down and keep the bike upright, if he hadda leaned in to the left, he woulda missed the wall no problems.

yeah its an odd crash. lucky he didnt go over that wall. could have been a very nasty fall.

Why did he pull the clutch right in before anything happened? could of been a tyre problem as already mentioned, may have felt a twitch or something that made him soil himself.

Looks like he may have dropped the gear too soon, making the back end chatter, then shit himself and got a severe case of target fixation.

yeah i think he downshifted to quick which kind of lock the rear wheel then making it slide sideways abit

also i didnt see NO brakelight come on either "sod front & rear brake ill use the wall"

Looking at it again he did downshift to accerlerate round the corner.

If he stayed in the saddle and controlled it, it could've been a sweet powerslide round the corner

Looks like a new rider too - I notice he didn't shift his body position either as he approached the corner.

OUCH! He changes down a gear before the corner which maybe locked the rear? After that though i dunno why the back end then wobbles And if he'd have looked around the bend and not at the wall he could easily have made that corner!

He spun the rear wheel, shat it and then focused on the wall rather than trying to steer clear of it. You all know yourself, if you look where your going thats where your going to go. He was looking at the wall and then BANG!

My vote is that he messed up an attempt to blip the throttle, causing that little back end slide that you see, just missed the high side and ended up upright and offline.

You may also want to look at that japanese police point to point.


And also this ZZR chap was not on a race circuit so racing techniques have little relavance, the idea of hanging off on track is to gauge angle from what I gather, not anything to do with quick steering.
