My ZX6R STILL FOR SALE!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not going to be out during the winter and I don't want her to rot so I could do with the cash more at this time of year rather than the bike.

R reg 1998, G1 model. 14k Miles, MOT 18th May 06, Taxed End of July 06, FSH with the book stamped at 4850 and 9719 (Valves and shims service).

The bike had an intermediate service about 500 miles ago, which included all fluids replaced along with the filters. Oh and new front brake pads. The bike was also serviced before I got the bike (got the receipt) and it got new plugs and battery about 10k miles.

Tyres are D207's. The rear could do with getting replaced within the next 1000 miles, front ok. C&S ok. Starts, runs and rides with no problems and has never let me down. Done nearly 4000 trouble free miles including bringing her back from Wales when I first got the bike.

Bad points, I crashed it!!! As some of you know. Needs some tidying to get it back to its best. Front nose cone and R/S fairing don't match but I got them cheap, bar end scuffed as it the bottom of the r/s front fork but no damage was done to the fork itself. The R/S fairing took most of the impact but the R/S engine casing did get a scuff in it.

Price? £1550ono, it won't take much to get this bike right again with regards to the miss-match fairing panels.

Looks like a great mini project for someone. Had I not had my crash, I'd have been seriously interested in it for a second bike to soak up the salt in winter, and put the miles on.

Half an hour with a spray can would do the trick!

Have you by chance got a 33bhp restrictor kit for it?

Looking at the pics, it looks like the only problem is that the colours don't match, is there still any actual damage?

No restrictor kit sorry but I'm 25 and don't need one!

Only the marks I've mention in my previous posts. Pretty much everything has been said in my first post.

It runs fine, shes been sat for 2 weeks but I've just been to the petrol station and back and she fired up first time. I'll post the rest of these pictures. They are quite big files but will show the marks on the right fork, bar end and clutch casing. Its only scuffs. The bike is MOT'd and taxed till next year and can be ridden away.

If it was a diffrent month i would have probly considered it.

Im widening my options now. At the moment im looking at a ZXR400/600, GSXR400, CBR400 and VFR400 all for arounf about £1500. But wont be able to buy till January! And after passed my restricted. I would love to take it mate, only if it was January.
