I need the B cable for my bandit (it closes the carbs).

Anyone know if it's shared with any other models?

It's a '97 bandit aswell, so it's grouped in with the 95-00 bikes, not even sure if it's the same as the post '00 bikes.

Out of interest what kind of effect do you get when this cable snaps? Im sure mine snapped ages ago, just a bit slow to de-rev at times?

as long as the throttle assembly on the carbs is loobed up and not seized it wont matter too much (my GSXR1100 doesnt have one and its fine.) But its good to keep as when A snaps its a handy spare.

Second cables are more critical on flatslide carbs like RS36s etc.

Why do you need to know what else might have the same one??, just order one for your bike it'll be the most common bike one that uses that cable anyway.
If you want genuine Suzuki use Robinsons Foundry, very good service, if you want pattern any bike spares place can fix you up. "Throttle return cable for a '97 600 Bandit please mate" it's as easy as that.

as far as i remember all GSXR engined bikes post slingshot use the same cables.

The bandit 600 uses a heavily neutered GSXR750 oilcooled motor.

I just want to get a cable off eBay that's all.

There are plenty of suzuki cables. Just none that specify bandit.

I don't think it makes any difference, I've ridden it for about 80 miles and I didn't know it was snapped.
