Ive got my car test coming up and want to know were it would put me bike wise eg l plates,pillion passenger etc. And do i have to still do my restricted bike test

Yes, you would have to take a restricted motorbike test either way. You can not carry pillions until you pass your motorcycle test.
You have to display L plates until you pass your motorcycle test.

I presume you'll be allowed to ride a scooter on L-plates under a provisional basis. Not sure about a 125, other than that, you'll be in the same predicament as every other new biker.

Am I right in thinking my full motorcycle licence acts as a provisional car licence? Not that I'm thinking of ever learning to become a cager that is...

Yes you will have provisional car entitlement with any bike licence, as the standard licence is for a car - it's provisional bike entitlement that must be added.

I've always had provisional entitlement for bikes on my car license.

Never asked for it. (but had it for 17 years, im one of them oldies, that can drive vans, mini buses etc, think when I past my car test they were giving them free with corn flakes, non of this theory test, hazard bollocks, no 2 year 6 points crap).

I feel for you young guys, you've got it tough.
