Even without looking at it, I can tell this is the turbo Hayabusa video. I don't know what the hell they've done to it, because if they'd downgeared it it would have gotten there a hell of a lot quicker. But it sure ain't hitting 220.

I think he is doing 220 but it is more like 220 kph not 220mph
speed comes down a bit quick.

I agree with Ian, seems more like to be 220kph, not 220mph, you'll probably see the red writing on the inside of the dial THAT will be MPH. Looks to be on a Busa too judging by the clocks...not all that impressed, but still faster than my bike goes

It's definitely 220kph. If you look on the inner dial you can see the 40 mark, just after the 50 on the outer dial. So it's only doing 135mph, which isn't that fast for a modern sportsbike. But who needs to go that fast when you can accelerate that fast

Wrong wrong wrong.

I've got a version of this, higher quality, on my laptop. That inner dial goes to 350KMH, and the outer goes to 220MPH. That '40' isn't '40', it's '90' KMH.

It's just very downgeared I expect, but the rider doesn't want people to know that so he doesn't use all the extra acceleration he's gained.

He probably has a mph to kph converter installed, pretty lame really but an easy way of making your spedo read way over the odds.
