FINALLY speedfight 50cc FIXED! :D

riding along in the rain braking up to some traffic lights loses power, tried to accelerate and then it cut out on me completely. started after 5mins of trying.riding again it starts losing power and then getting it again, finally i get home check my oil and its used nearly a whole tank(1 litre) since filling it up on sunday, any ideas whats wrong with it?

p.s. can anyone lend me a van to get it to the garage?

mine had a similar problem. Rding along one day and it just cut out completely. Turns out it wasnt mixing oil with the petrol so it was running on just petrol , my rings welded to the side of the piston.

on top of where the throttle cable goes, engine end is a bleed screw, maybe this has come off?

Hi, check to make sure there are no leaks as it could be that the oil pipe has simply come off meaning the oil leaks away and the piston is seizing like seanyboy150's did as it is not gettin any oil, Dan

thnx for the help im taking it to the garage because its still under warranty so if i can work out how to get it there it should be sorted by the end of next week

no oil leaking from the pipe, i can still see that it is all connected fine, went out on it this morning and it was going fine. maybe cause of the wet some water got into the engine?

got moped back from the garage it had some carb icing thats why it broke down. got it serviced had new spark plug, brake pads, air filter and 6 new rollers which came to 88.78
