Not my cup of tea, but I can see the point - plus it's been built to a good standard, can't complain about the workmanship.

I don't think it's been designed with cornering in mind. Not sure if that's sacrilegious or not, it's only an R1.

Bike for dragging, but quite hard to see from that angle. Cans look very nice. Smile Look at that nice fat back tyre, imagine the torque. Drooling

there are a lot of people in places like america, who build bikes like that R1 at the top cos they "look cool"
if it were a proper drag bike, why does it have its lights, treaded tyres etc?

THESE are proper drag bikes!

Surely there are different levels for drag racing - weight, BHP, etc? I'd imagine that R1 fits into a lower category than those other ones. I've seen a GSXR 1000 with effectively the same thing done to it. The major change being the huge swingarm, fat tyre and loooong chain. Laughing

I take it you've built lots of your own specials, so are adequately clued-up to form an informed and inciteful opinion as a qualified critic?

Or are you full of crap?

Laughing Laughing You are full of crap. You've never built a special. You're making cheap shots to make yourself look big.

Style guru.
