Thats pointless. Rolling Eyes

The YZF1000R Thunderace is a modifed YZF750 frame with a tuned FZR1000 Engine, he could of saved money and just brough an Ace.

Nice idea, I'd just buy the 1000 if I wanted to though.

A similar idea but more tempting is an FZR400 with the EXUP engine fitted. Or the CBR400 bull-arm with a Blade engine. Keep the looks as original as possible along with the 400 stickers. Nice little stealth bike. Smile

yzf's can be picked up for as low as £800. that certainly helps when you know you just wont be able to save more than that without spending it on something and lots of parts are intechangable, hmmm, i think so anyway.

That exhaust is awful, looks like it'll deck out easily too. I do like the colour of the bike though. I wouldn't pay £2k for it though.
Not sure you can get yzf's for £800 either. I've been watching them on ebay for a while now. Guy near me has bought 3 in the last few months. He's paid about £1200 each for them. I think he's just breaking them & selling the parts though. You can make a fair bit of cash that way as the parts are very expensive. they're also getting harder to find!
Wouldn't part with mine. I love it!

Same goes for me, I still love mine. Quick enough for trackdays, comfy enough for some distance and it isn't as common as the usual ZX6R, CBR, GSXR, R6/1s.

Saying that, if I could afford it I would probably buy any of the above, but I currently intend to keep my YZF until it dies.
