You having problems selling it? Looks like a reasonable price for a 2nd bike, seems a fairly clean example?

It may not work, or seem somewhat insignificant, but I think your starting bid is too high. I started my RVF on a ridiculously low price, around £200 I think, just to drum up interest. Obviously I had a reserve price on it, but seemed to work wonders in terms with bidders.

Best of luck with the sale, looks like a bargain.

Does the bike run? Can't you just ride it to the MOT garage?

Closest MOT garage that I would partially trust is in glasgow, 30 odd miles away. Not really willing to take the risk with no insurance.

Craig - I started it at that incase it ended at a sum lower than that amount. Had a few emails already from ebayers that would take it if it was MOT'd. But I think if I start it at £200, it'll end far too low.

EDIT - Yeah, only added on £3 so I took the gamble anyway. Smile

Selling up?

Got a ninja 6 in the garage that I use instead. Thumbs Up The thought had crossed my mind to keep this and sell the ninja and use the money to cutomize her but then thought it would jsut be money down the drain doing that. Hornet semed more fun to ride though.

Greg, I could probably borrow a bike trailer or a big van if you really wanted it taken for an MOT.

In fact, It might fit in my van. Thinking I'll check the size later, it's too cold to go outside. Wink

Cheers for the offer but I'll see how this goes and if it doesn't sell then it'll need to be put in for an MOT. Smile

As tempting as it is, I doubt I would use the rs instead of the ninja.

Surprised I came across that whilst browsing eBay, didn't know it was yours. Have to say, the one thing that put me off was the lack of MOT.

Obviously it's a valid excuse in this case, but for me, not knowing it was yours, I thought 'there's something wrong, or they would have done it themselves'.

Reflecting this, if it doesn't sell, maybe it would be worth buying some PAYG insurance, just to get it MOTed? You might actually make some more money that way, as you could sell the bike for a higher price.
