Well they are not.

Police

Just got pulled over by a cop Police

He said "this is a routine check" etc.

I said "its because the bike is registered in liverpool isnt it?"

He smiled and said "yeah"

I handed him the log book receipt. He then checked the tax

asked me if the bike was insured pointed out the can is not legal and to be carefull.

Talked about bikes a bit, he asked me milage and price of my bike.

He said he had just bought a 125 and is doing his test.

And then he went on his way with a smile and I went on my way.

NOT ALL COPPER ARE WANKERS THIS ONE WAS PROPER SOUND!

We both get er5's for our first big bike. We both now have ninjas. And we both get pulled by the police (first time ever on both parts) within 3 days of owning the bike.

Personally I'm glad you got pulled. If a copper sees a bike (especially a small one) in Yorkshire but registered in Liverpool it looks suspect that it's been nicked.

At least he did something.

Sounds like a decent guy, maybe he did just pull you to quiz you on bigger bikes, but there you go. Smile

He wasn't a tart about the aftermarket can either, which I'd reckon is pretty rare.

I don't think they'd care where it's registered.

My MZ was registered in Chelmsford, kept in Bristol. Same with the Bandit.

Must get it all the time with uni students if you live in a uni town.
