I'd be chasing them long before 4 months.

You did send it to the court and not the DVLA didn't you?

Did it have your correct address on?

Mine came back within 2 weeks. They only scrawl a few words on the paper part, in cheap biro. Nice to see my £60 was well used. Evil or Very Mad

hmmmmm well its gone then?? should i contact DVLA you reckon? I just realsied I never had it now. If I pass my test they'll need to upgrade it so it's probably necessary to have it. Fuck sake, everything takes forever.

If you sent it to the DVLA, I would have thought they would send it straight back. May be worth giving them a call, but as I've never spoken with them before, I'm not sure how helpful they'll be.

If you sent it to the court, you will have to get in touch with them. I should imagine that if they didn't receive it within 28 days, you would have had some news back by now with a summons.

Personally, I'd try the court first.

The cop took it whilst I gave a producer in so I presume he sent it to the court! He's the same one who sent me to court for no reason - seems he doesn't know what he's doing.

That's what happens. You hand it in to the police whilst producing your documents and they send it off.
