Yeah, sorry for the insurance thread but Razz

Basically i still havnt canceld the insurance on the ZXR 250, as i pay monthly the next payment is on the 22nd or so.

Thing is i might be getting a 400 in january, would it be worth keeping it on and then changing it to the next bike? How much does it cost? Or do i cancel it and have to pay another £100 deposit or so on the next insurance?

Also when i do a quote on their site it says i can only get insurance for up to 250cc? Why? It doesnt seem to matter what detail i put in (name/addres)

Ill phone them up if its worth it.

Groove Thumbs Up

You should be able to keep the policy running and change the bike thats insured, there will be a cost of course but should be cheeper than cancelling the old and starting a new one.
Some poilcy's allow you to insure more than one bike, the one your riding is covered fully comp and the others TPFT, you can only be riding one at a time. I've a mate thats got 4 bikes and just one poliy. Thumbs Up

provided there are no claims in this policy year trhen leaving it running will probably be cheaper. cancelling it would result in a cancellation charge. normally at leat 1 months premium. and you'd lose the deposit.
