Like that, even though it's a bit green for my pallette. If I had to choose between all '05 600s, I'd be hard pushed between a ZX and a CBR'RR.

Think the ZX6R would just pip it for the fact that I don't see as many of them around.

It's a cheeky way of instantly gaining more power / torque but still remaining within the "600cc" class.

Kawasaki have been doing it for a few years on the ZX6R, and now Triumph have jumped at the idea. It does push the insurance group up with some companies though.

But remember, this is why Kawasaki make the ZX6RR which is not 636cc, but 599cc; they have to have a production bike under 600cc in order to qualify for racing classes of that capacity.

I asked the bloke how he'd ridden it for the break in. He said that it was ridden fairly hard, but not redlined everywhere, which is what I would have done.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, I rang my insurers to find out about getting it insured and they told me my policy from my RR was still active Very Happy

This surprised me as when they wrote off the RR I thought the policy had been canceled as they asked me to send in my insurance cetificate. So I got the insurance swapped over to the ZX6R for £79 Thumbs Up
