Hi
I have a carb that im going to fit to my XL185 i think it a CG125 carb, the carb fit but has a extra lever besides the choke one.
Have a look at the picture attached and tell me what you think it is, i thinks its a primeing plunger.Am i right?

Priming plunger/ accelerator pump. When the throttle cable pulls the pulley wheel, it squirts a little jet of petrol down the Venturi.

So this runs off the throttle cable? If so i need a new one.Or does it run off the choke cable?

As far as I can remember, the throttle cable on the CG branches and activates both the main slide and the accelerator pump. I haven't taken it to bits for quite a while.
