Danny you'll be better going to Honda in Chiswick who will definately have your parts in stock it will cost you alot less money than putting another bike on insurance. If you think you might be embarassed about going to boxhill with a scuffed bike then stay near me my bike has got gaffa tape all over it "Honest" you won't look half as prat as me, "trust me!" Rolling Eyes

Anyways its nice to know your alrite. Very Happy

righto mate Very Happy first things first you're okay Very Happy

bit of advice...

1: have a long bath to relax any injured/bruised muscles. Believe me it *will* ache in the morning!

2: Report the accident to the old bill if you were fully road legal. Get your head together, write everything that happened down so you can come back to it if you forget.

3: Give your insurance company a ring. Tell them to call you back and ask what you should do. Tell them that no-one was around to get the no. plate, so its doubtful you'll claim...but get advice.

4: record any injuries you have, any time you take off work in a diary.

5: oh and take loads of photos of the damage to bike, kit, everything etc.

hope it all works out matey Very Happy

Try Gordon Farleys in Ash , just come from there they should have the honda parts you need. There a honda specialist.

Kevin.

1. I'll have a bath when i get home (i'm in college at the mo)

2. I'm gonna call the police later, I’ve already written a sudo-report 4 the police

3. The insurance company already called me (which was nice of them). They said unless some1 calls in with the reg they can't help Crying or Very sad

4. I will see what bruises i've got 2morrow

Thx, for all the help guys

5. i'm still trying to sort my head out, i'm just SO pissed at that evil bitch, i'm gonna have 2 borrow some money off my parents to pay for repairs. Also i have to stay at my dads till my bike is fixed cos i've taken so local thugs to court and they are after me, so i can't be walking around in my area.

Thx again for all the support Very Happy

I was doing somewhere between 20-30mph, good thing i was going that slow, when i'm coming back from college (less traffic) i usually do 60mph, which could have been very nasty Shocked

I think the driver (and other drivers) probably did see me, cos i did contact (albeit lightly) with her and i was sliding across a dual carriage way for quite some time.

I've seen the college nurse and she gave me the OK Very Happy

I'm feeling better now, less shaken up. But i checked with honda how much a new fairing costs = £56 (not bad) BUT a new exhaust costs £400 Shocked Shocked

So i'll be on the look out for a second hand one.

Best bodge a friend did was to knock up a footrest hanger for one of the Cagivas years ago while we waited for a new one to be delivered. He made it out of a sheet of steel with part of a Land Rover steering column for the peg

All the best

Keith
