Was pottering through town last night, and I forgot it was late night shopping. Oh god, avoid town centres at all costs on these occasions, it's just... argh. Despite having about 92839183109 people step out infront of me, and all of them being glared at through my tinted visor, I continued through the town.

On the main one way street out of the town, there were a few carol singers. "Fair enough", I thought. Put it into second and go to go around them at about 5mph, revs at like 3k so nice and quiet.

Alas, they can't just let you be, hassling everyone with ghay fake snow and glitter paint, they set towards me. I couldn't get out the way because of all the standers by, and a couple of the do-gooders got their tins of fake snow out, and sprayed me. I switched the bike off, and whacked it on the stand. One then got out a can of what I can only assume is glittery spray paint, and got me covered with gold paint which wont come off my jacket and waterproofs Mad

I took the lid off, and shouted some obsceneties at them. I looked round and saw one about to cover my bike with said crap. I paced towards him, and said "Mate, you touch that bike, and you won't be singing any more due to fake snow Inhalation".

His response was;

"Only a bit of Christmas cheer mate, lighten up."

FFS!! For their "Christmas cheer", I now have a gold bike jacket which is all sparkly, and glittered up waterproof pants. Do gooder wankers Mad

Will redline it past them next time, lets see them get me then Twisted Evil

fake snow is one thing but gold spray is way out of order id be asking for the money to replace. i know fake snow is designed to come off but gold paint isnt

in fact i might be temtped to grab one of their tins even if it provoked outrage

carry a tin of hammerite with you next time, make sure its gold though,,, keeping in with the christmas spirit and all that Laughing
