I think all the mods have been chosen and you can't become one. I wouldn't imagine any of us lot being even considered for 'mod hood' as you put it but oh well.

dunno if its the same here but on most forums i'm a member of a MOD is chosen after they put lots of effort into providing good help/advice on the board and are able to refrain from the usual squabbling most other members participate in...and sometimes help sort it out to.
