Emotionally saw my vfr400 off on saturday Crying or Very sad and recieved the gsxr750 Shocked

I'm still quite stunned at the power to be honest, makes the nc feel like a scooter, and i've had it nowhere near flat out due to shite weather

'98 Fuel injection 750 srad. It cost me £2200 with 1 years mot, braided hoses, undertray, crash bungs. Apart from that its in top original condition

I got £1850 for the nc, twas very sad but she had to go, time to move on Crying or Very sad

Mr. Green

Both very nice bikes. I guess you just wanted more power?

I will be sad to see my zxr400 go when I move onto a bigger bike.

The gixxer looks very clean.

Yeah shit, I started the VFR up to blast out any crap built up after storage (I have no licence still) and because it was so cold, when I went round the corner to my lock up again, the back end slid out with only little power!

Nice bike man, play safe…..

yea i kinda wanted more speed, the vfr was a 13 year old bike which needed alot of care and time i couldn't give it, the gixxer is crisp, everythings so smooth and perfect.

I'm not too sure on the power, it is intimidating especially in these conditions, the throttle response is instant (was very sloppy on my vfr)but i haven't dared push it too far in the low gears yet. I did find a nice stretch of dry road earlier though, speedo saw 160 in 5th gear Shocked

I am surprised yeah, i think they actually weigh about the same, the vfr was no lightweight for its engine size.

The gixxer's a physically bigger bike, especially in seat height, loving the ground clearance too, the vfr and the ground anchor didn't get along Thumbs Down

I swear my vfr was heavier than the titanic!! Shocked

Enjoy your gsxr750 but dont ever sit on or test ride the gsxr750k1-k5 cos i tell yee, you will want one.

Then if you test ride a gsxr1000k1-k5 especially k5 you will cry cos you will want that, you have been warned!!! Razz
