for those not into DIY electronics and/or with money to burn (guess which I am) the Bonneville box form Muzzy does it in a nice little gold pot

to much grief for 7mph, would make a difference to a 50cc chicken chaser but what's the point on a zx12.

aye but if you got all the other power mods to max it out properly then 186mph is a bit of a wall you need to get past and this is about the only way to do it Wink

Yeah those CDI restrictors are really annoying.

No matter how hard I try I just can't get above 186mph on my ZXR Cool


Yes this was a joke, I am fully aware my bike will not go that fast. Or will it?

been trying to find out how to derestrict mine,
found out so far theres something in the air box, the cats in the exausts and jetting no doubt (its carbs)
mind you,,
To be honest the cost of getting it all done to the actual bonus of speed i would get is silly
1 i rarely see more than 120mph
2 my fuel consuption at 120 is daft
3 cant be arsed
