Yes.

I was insured - but I didn't have a CBT to validate my provisional licence.

It was in a car park on an industrial estate on a sunday afternoon, got some practice in before CBT.

No halm could have come to anybody/thing apart from me, my bike or me Dad who was watching me carefully and there by choice!

Up and down the road on my dads bike/my gsxr when i had no licence and was 16. There are only a few houses down my road so wasn't too bad.

Also the day before i got my zx6r i was coming back from college on the back of my dads bike. The road we lived down was really long and quiet so he let me drive him home. Scraped the centre stand. Cool

Don't think I have, nope.. although technically bike wasn't restricted so technically there was a possibility I might not have been covered in event of accident... never had a problem though and no need to worry now Mr. Green

I have on a few occasions. Goes like this:

Tax disc expired.
Need an MOT to get tax.
Bike not working.
Not going to get MOT if bike not working.
Fiddle with bike.
Only way to find out if bike is working is to try riding it.

Once the bike is working, I take it for an MOT then buy a tax disc.

unintentionally wrode with nothing, as the mot had ran out and the bike shop hadnt reminded me, the only reason i remembered is because my friends bike at work was due an mot and that got me thinking,

Was given a courtesy scooter while my RS125 was having a few repairs done to it and the dealer assured me that i was covered by insurance. Thinking back, i really should have checked myself to make sure, but this was a few years ago when i wasn't on bikes for very long and it was all still pretty new to me. Got pulled over a few days later at a check point and asked to produce my licence and insurance at the local nick. So i did and it turned out my Rs's policy didn't cover me for the scooter and neither did the dealers insurance. Both myself and the dealer ended up in court. I got 6 points and the dealer got off completely, which i found really strange since it's the dealers business to know or to check if someone is insured before handing them the keys to a bike.

I think alot of people on the '33bhp rule' dont really have a licence because of restrictors 'falling out' lol. Me included, alot of people have had no insurance but people dont like to say it.

Erm... well there was a few minutes when i thought it was safe here and there when i was moving my offroad bike to my new house (the fucking moving company didnt think to tell us that one of the 8ton trucks had failed the day before). And we had two feckin bikes to move! Also i was driving in my School loading bay a few months ago...and my year of offroading too! But i think nearly all if not all was legal Mr. Green

. Even if it wasnt, i wouldent under any circumstances have endangered anyone.

Hornet didn't have an MOT for the 2000 miles I covered on it (I didn't even think to check!)

Firestorm doesn't have tax on it at the moment but have been meaning to get it everyday but P.O been far too busy! Evil or Very Mad

Keep all documents on me anyway so I CAN get it everyday.

Probably rode without insurnace but I can't remember when or if I actually have done. :S Infact, yes, jsut the once, on the hornet, 400m down the road for petrol.

yes, when I lived in a remote hamlet, with a four mile one way track from the houses to the next proper road, where there was one shop and a bustop. Used to ride it on there, many years ago.

When I was 17 I let a mate borrow my car because he did not have insurance and got caught twice in a week driving my car I was done for aiding and betting resulting in 12 points (ban had 3 before )and £500 fine ! (and IN10 on my licence for 5 years )

Never lend a bike /car without checking there insurance cert !
