Honda CBR400 ?

what do you think of these ?
there is one for sale near me for £1200.
They seem like a good compromise, a smallish bike that looks pretty goo and apparently isnt too sluggish.
any comments appreciated.

Depends what CBR we're talking about, A Triarm or Gullarm. They're actually totally different bikes but luckily enough they're both really good bikes

Triarms were only made for 2 years whereas the Gullarms were for 8 years (?) and share the early 'Blade type looks.

£1200 would have to be a very good, pretty low milage Triarm whereas £1200 would be a pretty tatty Gullarm (unless you've got a bargain)

Fantastic little bikes, great fun to keep buzzing at around 12k where they're pretty nippy and can embarass much larger bikes on the right road/with the right rider. I had a '96 Gullarm with 7k on the clocks (albeit for 5 weeks), felt like a scaled down Blade (but so much lighter and easier to throw around) which is exactly what it is (well, the fairing says so anyway). Have a nose over at 400greybike for more info or quiz a few more owners.

Bit small though (and I'm not exactly tall), look good and sound amazing with a full system on, bit gutless below 10k though, but that's part of the fun. Can't go wrong for £1200, unless it's a bit of a dog.
