No, they're stuck in the old forum system. It was a third party company that ran the old forum so I can't get at the database directly - but I want to dig them out somehow and archive them onto this forum, because there's a whole wealth of useful information spread over 4,000 or so messages.

Hopefully you can rescue the important threads but there was quite alot of useless stuff as well, have fun browsing through the 2000 insurance posts Wink including mine.....

New forum through might not be as straight forward but loads about 100 times faster so well done

Please can I have the information about the fairings back...I didn't write it down assuming that it would be available for me to get whenever I have enough money to get something done (and now I have....). If anyone can remember the website for the place that Keith recommended I would be very grateful. Thankyou.

Hi

One thing I forgot to mention is that the guy who does the fairings is open on a Saturday morning. Useful, as although I work very close to the place I dont take the car to work as parking is pretty awful and by the time I have walked from a parking spot it is drier to take the bike!

He was a one man band, but now has someone working for him doing some of the prep work

He has a web page at https://www.arnoldsfairings.co.uk/

No connection except as a happy customer. The bike of mine is resprayed can be seem at https://www.alfa-pages.co.uk/dscf0036.jpg, and it is the one on the right

All the best

Keith

You know it's bad when the ever neutral Korn rates with a thumbsdown. Laughing

You know it's bad when you've got 7 thumbsdown and then Ste comes in with a classic "overrated" rating! Laughing
