I got the engine into the AR125 today, havnt got it started still need to wire it all up but it ssitting in there. Looking promising for to be finished for the new year. Belfast castle sounds handy enough like, or maybe even the zoo?

That Nuttscorner route sounds good, I know all those roads pretty well and never too much traffic.

A route I like is from Templepatrick up to Nuttscorner via the back roads, then head towards Dundrod and do a bit of the track, then make my way to antrim via crumlin.

No the only problem with the zoo is, I may make it up that hill with out going into labour, but getting back on the bike to ride home will be a killer, I vote for Newry - Sprucefield (me and savo) then meet up with any belfast peeps there, then over to templepatrick, again stop and meet up with more peeps, nutts corner (another stop??) Over to dundrod, then Belfast Castle for a much deserved cuppa.



Can we wait til this bloody weather picks up a bit?

Sounds like an ok route to me Wildcat. I think since you're riding for 2, it's probably best to let you pick a route you feel you are up for. So as long as no one else minds, i'm happy to leave the route to you
You can ride to the Castle, you don't actually have to get off the bike and walk up a mountain (Just incase you thought there was an uphill walk involved)

Can you go to belfast casle via the mountain though IE down by Ballysillin etc, nothin as bad as dandering down the Antrim road for 4 miles.

You can walk up to the horseshoe bend, take a right turn onto the Hightown road, walk up that very steep road for a bit untill you get to a little carpark on the right hand side where there's a little Ulsterway pathway that takes you to the top of Cavehill, then make your way down to the carpark at the Castle. Personaly i'd take the antrim road route if i were walking. When you get to the junction of the Ballysillian road and the antrim road, the turn off to the castle isn't that far along
