I liked it, the only thing was it was slightly to sportsbike like for me. The riding position I mean, I suit more upright style bikes. What was your insurance like on it? I payed £450 TPO.

Sounds like an ok route to me Wildcat. I think since you're riding for 2, it's probably best to let you pick a route you feel you are up for. So as long as no one else minds, i'm happy to leave the route to you Thumbs Up
You can ride to the Castle, you don't actually have to get off the bike and walk up a mountain (Just incase you thought there was an uphill walk involved)

As I'm riding for 2 don't count on me 100%, it was just a suggestion and I don't know the good roads up there so the route should be a group effort, at the minute I plan to be on the zx6r, but I may have to fall back on the cbr125 if I get a growth spurt Laughing
Anyhow, i'll be happy going up to meet somewhere and i'll see how it goes.

Korn, can we have our own section yet? Thumbs Up

I'm not really fussed on having a Northern Ireland part. Would be nice to see us on the map though.

yea just head to dublin, and come off at lisburn exit, NOT lisburn and saintfield, but lisburn and sprucefield, (its the one just after saintfield.)

think its the 3rd exit in all after the westlink...

I'm from banbridge. There's a few people on 125s so it doesnt look so impossible now.

I just need to get my bike back on the road. With any luck that'll be done by next week.

Ok everyone. Next sunday isn't that far away. So weather permitting, what time would suit everyone to meet at the Sprucefield Mc Donalds? Taking into account that it's getting dark around 4:30 or there abouts. I'll start off by suggesting 11:30am.
Might not be a bad idea to exchange a few mobile numbers before we meet up incase anyone gets lost on the way to the meet. Kymco already has mine, but for those who don't +447841869489.
My name is Craig by the way. You can call me Dude or Craig. Whatever blows your hair back.
So lets get this thing organised. Once we get a meet time sorted out then we can nail a route. I think a coastal destination would be nice. I'm thinking either Carnlough on the Antrim coast or Newcastle on the Down coast. I'm sure we'd be able to get a bite to eat and a beverage at either
Looking forward to meeting you all Smile

Dude, the plan is 2 meet at mcdonalds at 1130, think me and SoND are meeting kymco and wildcat at 1030 in Banbridge tescos... More info is in the NI section if you want 2 sign up...

I don't know where the route is yet, think we are just going to see on the day.

P.S. I have a really annoying 90mile tank range Evil or Very Mad, so might have to bring a petrol can lol.
