Nah, get to 40 and the prices are lower (I am not there yet, and it is £225 fully comp for my Bandit with a fair few engine mods declared).
Some companies have some very odd clauses. Charlotte came across one years ago that gave good quotes to young car drivers. Buried in the small print was a clause that those under 21 were only insured when accompanied by someone over 25.
All the best

Wotcha.
Argh - why is it that every online insurance company asks for all your personal details - i.e. home address, home phone number BEFORE they will give an estimate ? Surely all they need is a post code and your age - then if it looks like a bargain, you can give them the revelant details. I've filled these things in before now, and when it comes to "select make of bike" ---> "select model of bike" - - they don't have mine listed { Moto Guzzi - Nuovo Falcone }, so I can't get a quote. Then, as if by magic, a few days later a bleedin' advert from the insurance company will plop on my doormat.
No - any company that wants my details beforehand can go screw themselves.
There - I feel much better having got that lot off me chest ____________________ Cheers.

NEVER take the first quote, if nothing else ring back saying you've been quoted £50 less and see what they do.

While this is worth a try, remember that sometimes this is too much for the company to agree with. For instance it would be 1/3 of my premium.
I play the 10% game with insurers......
Get a quote that you are happy with, say that you will call them back (or better still, get them to call you back )
Phone another company that isn't part of the same group and knock 10% off the premium. If they match it, do the same again, to another company until you start to get either 'we can't match that' or very similar quotes. Then go with the lowest/best
Always remember that although they might not want to give you more money off, they might well be happier giving you some sort of extra cover for free (ride other bikes, insure another for nothing, break down etc, etc).
If you already have breakdown cover and they are giving it to you in the insurance, ask for a reduction in the premium, cos you don't need two lots of breakdown cover.
