Does anyone know if this will fit my bike? Mines a 95 zxr 400 L model.
Will it just directly replace the original can (on original downpipes) or is any moddification needed?
Will the engine need setting up or is it ok just to bolt it on and leave as is?

Many thanks
Tom Thumbs Up

If you fit a purple can a green and blue bike you really are gay. Thumbs Up

It will fit tho, just unbolt the standard can and bolt that one on, won't need jetting I doubt tbh, most people don't bother if its just a can

Its an ART can so bolt on and go with the stock system, no messing with the carbs needed.

It'll be alright to just bolt on and leave it as is, most folk do and it doesn't do much harm.

Email the seller and ask what the inlet diameter is. The go check the inlet diameter of your current exhaust. If equal (perhaps ~50mm) then yes it'll fit no bother.

Assuming the zxr400 range don't do the 3 bolt arrangements.

I was gonna mark this funny, but then realised people might think what was said was funny, rather than in the ironic sense Smile.

If he was to fit a green or a blue one it would be cool but if I was to then it'd be gay as it wouldn't suit... sooo.... Rolling Eyes

With an ART can, all you GET is noise noise noise.

Not my idea of fun to be honest, even on a vtwin. Sick Confused

Get a quality remus one (seen one that would most likely have fitted yours, carbon one ) go for £21 the other day. Just got to search ebay correctly.

I found it funny that you were warning somebody else about having a 'gay' looking bike.

I can go into details about why I consider this to be ironic if required Smile.

If you got the standard ZXR400 system, all the bolt on cans designed for the ZXR400 (L in your case) will fit. H model cans may fit, but I don't know for definate.

If you have aftermarket downpipes you will have to check the fitment type. I have a Micron system, and I have to have slip on cans as opposed to bolt on
