 |

After all the snow posts, alot of people said to hang off the bike more so the bike doesn't have to lean as much. I started doing this but realised I have no idea how to hang off. Been trying on decent roads and I can feel a difference in my corner speed confidence. I tried putting just my knee out but my leathers refuse that so end up putting alot of weight on the inside footpeg and sometimes move myself to the inside of the seat.
Wanted to find out how people lean off there bikes, is there a set way of doing it is just about being smooth? ____________________ Enjoy Life There's Plenty of Time to be Dead

I think it comes natural once you start to lean and you will feel if it is right or wrong (just dont lean too much untill your used to it). Another tip is if it wet and you are leaning apply more force to the opposite foot peg, ie if you are going right, pushed down on the left footpeg. ____________________ Current: 2019 Yamaha T7 -> 2015 KTM Superduke R | 2000 Yamaha R1 Past -> 2009 KTM 990 SM -> 2005 kawasaki ZX10r -> 2000 Honda CBR 600 FY -> 2002 Honda XLV 125 Varadero

I've been riding for about 3 years now and get the lean angle fairly low but just have never tried leaning off the bike itself.
Don't quite understand the logic of putting weight on the outside footpeg though? And had my leathers for about 2 years now so there as supple as there going to get. ____________________ Enjoy Life There's Plenty of Time to be Dead
