On my KLE's forks there are some air valves on the top. I can't seem to find any info on what pressure they should be charged to ?

Anyone know Question

Cheers

Mike

Or manage to keap it going for a week either Confused.

Think it's usually under 10psi, as there's not much to exand as opposed to a tyre, you get to that pretty quickly.

There should be no pressure in them. They are to let the air out of they have 'pumped themselves up'.

Well, mine seem pretty much bang on with no air in so I am leaving them that way. Not as good as the ones on my MZ were but they were tarty forks with a foot of travel and clicky things (which I also never touched, funny how even when you are given loads of adjustment, standard settings still seem pretty much bang on).

Might invest in some progressive springs for it at some point in the future though.

Mine tends to dive down pretty damn sharpish if you touch the front brake hence wondered if there was any adjustment on them.

Big dirt bikes do that. You soon get used to it. Set them too stiff and the back wheel will start to lift under braking.

When I first got my MZ (my first big trailie) it felt like I was going to go over the handlebars every time I braked but after a couple of days on it I was braking so hard you could feel the front tyre squirming about.

The forks on my VT say air pressure: 0-4 psi or something silly. Hardly worth bothering with imo.
