I purchased one of these gear kits today and went back and tryed to fit it to my scooter (suzuki katana lc) i got the gear box thingy open and i cant seem to see any possible way that this can fit. it came with a cog and a shaft with a cog on. does the shaft with the cog on replace the thing that my wheel connects to. thts the only way tht i could see it going but then there is no disk brake spline and i have no idea where the cog goes. if anyone can help then the product code is 6711297. p.s the malossi instructions are bollux.

Hi to fit the gear kit you need a 5 ton press to firstly slide off the old cog then to push the new 1 on. Also u will need to press a new bearing onto the shaft that already has a cog on it. The wheel needs to be taken off and the shaft knocked back through the casing so you have all the shafts and gears out then replace the ones that you have upgraded. If you have to ask which ones to replace then maybe you should be letting a garage do it Confused
