Honda C90.

110cc big bore conversion (complex to fit, I have one. You need to TOTALLY strip the engine and have the crankcase opening machined out to take the bigger barrel).

MTX125 front end.

Some sort of boingier shocks (not sure what off).

Not all of the bikes are the same, I've seen some that were just standard C90s with knobbly tyres.

love those guys

bought the DVD after a conversation on here about one of their C90's powering up a shale slope that even hard core dirt bikes were struggling with

believe it was mr stinkwheel actually

gotta laugh at their flatbed full of c90's + bits! all on their side, im sure they just whack together something just about serviceable to use from their extensive pile of bits

the abuse they give those bikes is quite something as well

"at speeds approaching.. yes you guessed it. 100 mph!" Laughing

I made one out of a c70.

think i used rxs100 forks or similiar, and longer shocks.

the helmets themselves use forks off of any "big wheeled" 80cc motocross bikes eg kx80, rm80 etc. They lengthen the swinging arms by approx 2 inches, and use big long gas shocks ( did i hear off an mz somewhere? )and lay them down by moving the pivot to prevent the chain tightening on full compression.

no forks fit straight in AFAIK but with some engineering you can make pretty much anything fit. The bikes become quite tall after all of this, so you've got to have long legs!!

Modified handlebars, or really high 'crosser bars are a must, otherwise they're too low in comparision with the seat, I used honda ss50 5 speed ones. ss50 downpipe bodged together also makes a high level exhaust.

More info here in the forums (sift through the shite ) https://www.thepurplehelmets.com/discus/

Thumbs Up

Any monkey bike specialist (there are a few, and they sell any tuning part imagineable for the C90 engine). Mine was about 100 quid. Never got to try it because someone pinched the rolling chassis from my house and set fire to it.

Dunno about how the forks fit, probably takes a bit of fannying about although having looked at a couple of the bikes close up, I suspect they might just have cut and slugged the steering stem to the right length.
