I know alot of bike cans are 3 bolt (bandit 1200,busa,zx7r,srad,cbr900 etc)

What i need to know is will a 3 bolt zx7r can fit my 3 bolt gsxr 750 '98??

I read somewhere that they all fit, think it was 73mm between each bolt?

Any help appreciated

Best thing to do mate, is try it. It's not just bolt sizes and patterns, it's also the bore of the can. Smile

...as well as number of bolts and their arrangement to make sure the can sits squarely (so the label doesn't look out of place).

The can im looking at has six holes, to allow 2 slightly different angles for the 3 bolt fitting

I've studied both my bike and the can and both appear to add up, i wish everyone's stuff just fitted everyone elses Sad

Agreed, but unfortunately, that broadens consumer choice, which big companies don't like...
