led's and parking lights?

how much power would 3 led's draw compared to a normal taillight bulb? Does anyone have an idea roughly in comparison to a bulb as it's easier to work out that way wether it would be feaseable without draining the battery. I want to use 3 led's as parking lights just concerned at how much power they draw when left parked up with the engine off.

leds use hardley any power, alot less than the normal light. would 3 be bright enough tho? a problem would be converting the 12v to the few volts it takes to power the leds, i think you can buy something that does or you could bodge your own together for a few quid.

I've got LEDs in place of a tail light on my gixxer. About 15 or 20 of them I think. Plenty bright, too. Longest I've left them on was for three hours or so. The battery wasn't noticably drained. The headlight will kill it in half an hour, though.
