You won't get it to go any faster if that's what you're after. You stand a better chance of causing a hot seizure from running too lean, or at worse, burning a hole through the piston due to detonation and pinking. Oh, I imagine you will also get damaged seals and reed valves given time, due to all the extra muck you'll be flinging through the engine.

Alternatively, nothing will happen and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. For a while at least. Smile

It'll get a load of crap sucked into the engine, especially at this time of year. My air filter got blocked twice in 6 months - if I hadn't had it on it probably would have been game over.

hmm u see the trouble is, a while ago, whilst pulling out at a roundabout, there was a very loud click, the revs went. bike started fine after this, but now whenever slightly cold, or full warmed up but a higher revs, there is a very loud rasping sound, and a gurgling roar from my exhaust. i was wondereing mayb i have a blocked air filter. i tried to take it off, but it seems stuck fast. the bike is a ludix blaster 50. and no loL im not a speed nutter its restricted still. only will go 35 or so indicated.

If your air filter is blocked, in my case the bike wouldn't start full stop. Nothing coming from it whatsoever. I don't really know the problem, but I would suggest blocked carbs or perhaps a leaking exhaust line, not sure.
