Anyone know a good place to get them from in the NW area? Hopefully somewhere I can ride to and pick it up from Liverpool as I really don't want to travel far!

If there's anyone online that'll deliver me one, then that would be great too!

Thanks,

Toby

Well, first off connect the battery.

Then drink the acid.

Then ride the thing to A&E.

Sorted. Wink

The battery I got had the acid pack and battery itself. Stick the acid pack into battery.

Et Voila - mine never even needed a charge.

I put a yuasa one in mine today and it was literally a battery and acid pack. I don't know what you would use the water for, the instructions mine came with mentioned nothing about it.

It took about 5 minutes for the acid to go from the acid pack into the battery completely.

I thought you put distilled water in a battery to stop the acid from evaporating! Prolly just me talking bollocks again Smile

"Sealing the battery: fit the strip of caps tightly into the filler ports, make sure the strip is at the same level as the top of the battery"

"Never remove the strip of caps, nor add any water or electrolyte"

I guess I have a sealed battery then?

Keep it, it'll come in for something, be it coolant, windscreen washers, or even just topping up a battery. So long as it remains uncontaminated, it'll be fine almost ad infinitum.

If its not a sealed battery you can top it up with distilled water. It doesnt really taste of anything to drink. I can get gallons of the stuff from my dads work. Infact if I really wanted I could have the water-still that is sitting in his office since the new one was fitted.
