Yeah i had to do it on my ped.

You need to get insurance on it before you take your forms to the dvla centre and i think tou pay £38 to register and £15 for tax

Looks fun to build for just under £700.

I want to buy one just to build it.

Can you buy many bikes in a crate?

Idea Question

Yep, DON'T post them as they can take 6weeks Shocked take them by hand, you will also be able to tax it there and then also.

Not sure whether VOSA will need to inspect it for road worthiness first, should say on the docs/forms when you get them. My car did b@stards went over it with a fine tooth comb. Rolling Eyes

All bikes come in a crate, its usually the dealer that puts them together and does the PDI, Tax and registration for a large fee. Shocked

It should have a certificate of EU conformity which will exempt it from any test (SVA I think)

Do the manufacturers make an equivalent to a
fireblade?
Is it restricted?
Be sure to post some pics of the actual bike when it's built. Thumbs Up

Twin port. Did Honda make a twin-port single Thinking CB125RS?? If it is that makes it an overhead cam engine rather than a pushrod like the CG125. Which would make it a bit pokier than a CG.

i bought a similar "bike in a crate" i had all the paperwork....but when i took it to the dvla office they said it had to be inspected to measure it,and check the chassis, engine numbers. all done now though.
