hello,

it is with a very heavy heart and a shed load of tears that im hear tonight, a bcf member known as "pop" who is also my granada died this afternoon whilst out on a ride with me, he hit the central reservation on the m27 and i saw the whole thing, the paramedics tell me he died on impact, but i find this hard to take.

as a result of this im selling my bike and giving them up compleatly, as fast as my bike is i couldnt stop and get back to him in time to help him, and i cant beir to go through what im going through now ever again.

i was the first back to my grandad and with all my first aid training i couldnt help, he was wearing full protective gear, but it didnt help, im now without somebody i considered my father.

RIP PoPs Crying or Very sad

Condolences to you and your family Craig. Despite our constant jibes, we have full respect for you, what you have been through previously, and what you must be going through now.

As others have said - please stick around. Sell your bike, take a break, but don't ever think that you need to be suffering alone.

Take it easy fella.

Nothing that can be said really.

I do know how it feels to some degree, I do sympathise, but that doen't help in the slightest.

As in Chunkie's thread...
I hope you can come to terms with your loss and if you do decide to ride again, know that your grandfather will be riding along there beside you.

Craig,

All I can offer for now is my condolences and heart felt sorrow for your loss. I know you and your family can get through this. I've been there recently, my mate was like a brother to me, I know just how you feel. I'm giving the bikes up myself and support you 100% if it's what you want to do.

The guys and girls on BCF were invaluable support when I needed it - we will ALL be there for you. I you wish to mail me to chat - do so.

PM me and I will send you my email address.

Nightmare, so sorry to hear this. As a newbie I never had the chance to speak to POP in the forums, but it breaks my heart to hear of people getting injured or worse on a bike Crying or Very sad .

Just remember that POP will always be in your memory Nothing can take that from you.

Best of luck in whatever you decide to do!
