Christ! It certainly looks like its been battered with the ugly stick, doesn't it?

Sick Sick Sick

Maybe in a single colour it looks better, but the standard Suzuki colour scheme just makes bike look shit for me.
I give it a Thumbs Down

Prefer the R6 tbh.

The 2004 ZX6R is still by far the sexiest bike ever though. Cool

not ugly but had to think twice about it, were as the R6 and zx6r i thought fook yeah straight away so for that reason i'd go either the yam or kwak. in all black would look ace.

how does it compare in proformance to the others?

Looks very smart, the colour scheme is worked in well, but I just don't like the pointy pokey nose.
The same goes for the latest R6 and R1, with thier bird like beaky front ends.
I saw a new R1 last weekend and it did look awesome, apart from the front. I genuinely prefer the older models, still aggressive but not 'sneaky' or 'snide' as i see the latest ones.

I hate it, and not because of the plastics, or the engine, but because the engineers who designed it are plain lazy.... the exhaust....

Like the new R6 I went to see 2 weeks ago, under that lower faring is one ugly, large, sausage shaped, hollow sounding, metal expansion chamber. Rather than try and think of some new way of trying to reduce emissions the designers just thought 'f**K it, we'll just call it 'moto gp' style and fool everyone.

And fool you all they have. As out of the small crowd around that R6 not one of the stupid born again riders knelt down to look UNDER the bike. YUK Thumbs Down And more importantly by doing what they have done and getting you to like the style of the exhaust stub they won't have the need to change it for something decent.

Only the Daytona's designers seem to have done something about the problem.

Really like it, but from that angle it looks quite complicated. Lots of sharp angles.

And there's the exhaust, which I raise an issue over every time someone shows me a new bike.

Don't worry, they do them in other colours. Suzuki's coorporate colours are blue and white, it wouldn't be a proper Suzuki if they didn't include that scheme somewhere in the range. It's like Kawasaki Green or Ferrari Red.

Granted, not eveyone wants that though...Barr........barr

Looks wise I'd take the r6 over it. But performance wise I'd take this. I saw it in full black somewhere I think that color looks best on it.

Agreed, that was the other point I was going to make above in my earlier post... by having the exhaust like that, there is no option for customization.

Nice looking, but that hideous Exhaust lets it down! I like to see a nice big can.

R6 wins for me, but the fault with that is the big scaffolding Reg Plate Holder! Sexy and feels nice between your legs, had a sit on it, while they sorted paperwork for my new SV650.

Yeah there is, people (Remus, I think) already have exhausts on the market for them.

I'm not sure about the exhaust myself, but I definately don't like the engine casings.

IMO, as time is progressing all of the major superbikes are starting to look closer and closer to each other to achive 'perfect' aerodynamics. Tbh i dont see anything that seperates this years model from the rest.
