How much do they tend to cost? something basic for 1 bike, namely a cg125, but if it could (if it really needed to) carry a 600sports bike for example...

Cheap and basic is what i'm after Wink anyone got any recomendations.?

There is not cheap and cheeful. They want your ££££. Best advice I can offer is to look on eBay etc. Put a wanted ad in the forums.

Seem to start on ebay for about £100, usually needing a bit of loving care (like a good coat of Hammerite) and not always having a loading ramp.

I'd budget £200 for a half decent one, they are a fairly decent investment in that they don't really depreciate as long as you keep them in good condition.

Worth looking into borrowing / hiring if you don't need it much.

I got one for £50 which does the trick and looks okay after a coat of hammerite and a new number board.. the track was perfect for off road bike but needed to hit the track with a hammer to make it wider for anything else Laughing

Ahh this is the kind thing i'm looking for Razz

I'd not use it much at first but would hopefully use it more as i get into greenlaneing more, so maybe renting one for a little bit would be a good idea..
If i used it allot and it didn't turn out to be much good i could allways sell it on and "upgrage" (like bendy said they dont seem to depreciate)

Getting a van wouldn't be much point, seeing as you tend to need a licence for that kind of thing! (appart from the cost)

Thanks for the replys Thumbs Up

@ those with trailers..

Someone's offered me a good enough condition trailer close enough to me. But it has no suspension. Is that a problem in your opinions?

My dad wants to stear clear due to no suspension but I don't know.
