Do you need sidelights to pass your mot?

I got a new headlight fairing and it didn't come with the sidelight in it and my MOT is today. Will I need it to pass?

Front position lamps and headlamps
A motor bicycle (with or without a side car) fitted with a headlamp need not have a front position lamp (but must have one on the side car, if a side car is fitted).

Looks like you dont have to have one fitted. I know cars do though. Thinking

Got the tyre wrecked and the new one put on. It's been dry today so far so I might have a chance to scrub it in a bit before it rains again (touch wood it doesnt).

Had to replace the back sprocket aswell, lucky I had one off ebay sitting here. Mechanic told me it might fail because of my chain. >_<

Did it pass then mate? Most people recommend changing the chain and sprockets at the same time. From personal experience it does make a difference, I put a new chain on my bike without changing the sprockets and it properly messed the chain up in no time...

It passed Mr. Green

It's only a cheap second hand one I got off ebay, just incase. It's down 2 teeth. Buying a full set when I can afford it, want it downgeared, hardly ever hits the top speed as it is.

It's not a CG, it's a GS and the chain isn't enclosed.
