So what do you lot think of them was speaking to zx400 about them, I really like these old school looking ones from the 70's. Where they are simple colours and stand out still today.

Most jackets look crap cos there too many things on them.

The one i got right now (Blue Alpinestar T-Dyno) is just right, colourfull and not too busy Cool

Most of the new Alpinestar ones are looking good too!!!

I don't like the 'Luck Strike', 'BMW Compaq' and the like.

They are worn my chavs on 50cc 'peds ("Yeah man, this is wot dat Rossi wears innit!"). You can usually get them from a Mr Patel's leather 'boutique'. Basically over £100 for single stitched poor quality leather (probably dog skin).

I have this one, 70 odd quid of egay, good all round jacket really, nice and tough with armor.

Only floor is it only has inside pockets.

I have a real retro jacket it's a hein gricke one from the late 70's early 80's. My dad got it in a LA then got fat and gave it to me.

I like the lucky strike one as worn by pritch in dirty sanchez. As for the fashion conscious bit, it does wind me up. I wouldn't buy a bike jacket unless it had protection, and i like it, function & form are equally as important to me.

If anyone remembers the video for Cochise by Audioslave, the jacket Chris Cornell has in that vid is cool, a simple black leather one.

You can get good retro leather jackets in the Arcade/Affleck's Palace in manchester in the second hand shop.

I got myself a retro jacket to go with my monster, just to look good in the summer.

Only thing is the armour is just soft padding, I would need to wear an armour suit or something to feel safe!
