ZXR400 paddock stand

Just a quickie....

I need to get a paddock stand for my ZXR00.

Any recomendations for reliable suppliers on the web I can get one from?

Do I need a particular size? Looks like all are adjustable.

After cleaning my chain and wheels this weekend I realise that life could be a lot easier!!!

just get a paddok there all the same just with diffrent names on they should all be adjustable

If you want to use paddock stand bobins they arn't all the same tho.

ive got a micron stand its sturdy and its easy enough to use with one person.

can you just get a paddock stand to use on any unmodified bike, or do you have to attach those bobbins to the bike?

Yes, if you get one with cups they go under the swingarm rather than using hooks and bobbins. Thumbs Up

depends tho if your swingarm is the same on each side for the cups, plus got to be carefull not to mark the swingarm. abba are supposed to be good.

Bought the Micron one, £40inc P&P, should do the job.

I don't do any heavy work on the bike with it, just to prop it up as I oil the chain and clean. Saves using the girlfriend to wheel it along the drive:-
"forward, stop! no back! forward a bit, stop!" "don't drop it on me FFS!"

theres a shop on ebay that does front and rear ones for £40 DONT use him, mucked me around no end, ignored emails, bullshitted me, 3 weeks later no stands and no refund, had to get quite nasty to get my money back....
