Hi all Very Happy

Found myself a NSR 125 bike in the Buy and Sell for 380 euro but needs repair (new gear box and a faring)

BUT, i am worred about how much the insurance is going to be for this NSR 125 machine.... Can anyone tell me its insurance rating??? Or would it be different in England than in Ireland??

Also, would anyone on ere have a second hand Gearbox for such a machine???

Thanks all Very Happy

Dave

Would i be correct in saying that if the NSR 125 is a 7 insurance rating, the NSR 75 would be a 6??

U dont happen to know where i could pick up, say, a good second faring and/or gearbox?? Got any contacts??

The people always quoted on here are David Silver Spares. They can get any Honda part you need. They're not always cheap though, and I managed to get a CDI for a third of the price they quoted me from a breakers. Try https://www.bike-breakers.info/ for the gearbox.

I think you'll find it hard to find a complete gearbox, and as far as I know, it isn't a 'bolt on' type fix.

I hear insurance in Ireland is verging on the extortionate too...

Sorry... Smile
