Getting back on after hanging off

I've got into the habbit of hanging off a little around corners, just because it makes the bike feel a lot more stable. My method of hanging off involves weighting the right hand peg a little and sliding myself left across the seat for a left hand bend, and the other way around for a right hand bend.

The only problem is I can never seem to settle back properly in my seat. I always feel like I'm sitting a bit... wrong.

Any tips for realigning myself, without wriggling about in my seat to get comfortable again?

rather than slide back onto the seat, try and lift your arse up into the air about an inch and align yourself and plonk yourself back onto the seat. works for me when going through a chicane as well, give it a shot

polish your seat with Mr Sheen makes it nice and slidy so you can shift about on it easier.

You should be gripping the tank with your knees. If you're hanging off the right side of the bike simply pull yourself back up with your left knee against the tank.

I've never found a problem getting back on.

It's the same problem as when you get out of your armchair to get a beer from the fridge. You come back and can't quite work out how you were sitting so comfortably int he first place, doesn't feel quite right.
